The death toll from Corona in Pakistan has dropped for the second day in a row.According to Corona’s statistics website (covid.gov.pk) in Pakistan, in the last 24 hours, 30,139 tests for Corona were conducted across the country, of which 1,895 new cases of Corona came to light and 39 people died.
According to the official portal, the number of deaths from Corona in the country has reached 10,350 while the total number of cases has reached 4,88,529.In addition, 1779 patients have recovered from Corona across the country in 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 442,457. According to the NCOC, there are 35,722 active corona patients in the country.
Corona Situation In Provinces
According to the official portal, the total number of Corona patients in Sindh has reached 218597 while 3611 people have died so far.The total number of corona patients in Punjab is 140714 and 4124 people have died due to the virus while the total number of patients in Balochistan is 18247 and the death toll is 185.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the number of Corona patients has risen to 59,484 and 1,675, while in Azad Kashmir, 8,357 people have been infected with the virus and 226 have died.In Gilgit-Baltistan, 4,867 corona patients have died so far and 101 have died. According to the portal, the total number of Corona patients in the federal capital Islamabad is 38,263 and 428 patients have died so far.
