  • Online submission of the application is possible. Depending on the criteria, the system will either accept or reject the application.
  • Through an online focal person account, university focal persons will check the student’s record, specifically Name, CNIC, Department, Degree Level, Last Exam Percentage/CGPA, etc.
  • For the verification procedure, the University Focal Person has full authority.
  • After acquiring student records from the Institute or directly from the student, any discrepancy in the student data will be corrected by updating or changing the student data.
  • Depending on the application, the focal person may reject, confirm, or correct the student within the allotted time.
  • According to eligibility and merit requirements, each Institute will receive its fair share of laptops based on a predetermined quote.
  • The automated process to compile merit lists for each University by HEC will operate on the
  • System after the deadline for verification by HEC has passed.
  • The institutes will then cross-check the preliminary merit list that HEC has shared with them and respond within 15 days after receiving it.
  • HEC will distribute the final merit list to the Institutes in accordance with the removal of any discrepancies from the provisional merit list.
  • Every Institute is required to post the final merit list along with a timeframe for distribution on their notice board, website, or social media page.
  • The public and all students will be able to view the merit standing of each person after the Final Merit Lists are released on an online portal.

Laptop Distribution Criteria:

The definition of the distribution criteria is as follows:

  • In each degree programme, including PhD, MS/M.Phil, and 16 years of schooling, laptops will be distributed only on the basis of merit.
  • According to university enrolment, the share will be calculated, along with the laptop quotas for each degree programme (i.e., university, campus, degree programme, department, and year-wise distribution).
  • Balochistan HEIs’ quota has been set at 14% (14,000 Laptops), in accordance with instructions from the PM’s office. Note: Under this allotted quota, students from authorised universities in Balochistan will be accommodated.
  • The remaining 86,000 will be distributed among HEIs in the public sector in accordance with their preferences for enrollment.
