Coronavirus: 22 More Deaths, 915 New Cases In Sindh

Another 22 patients died of corona virus in Sindh. The total death toll rose to 3,462, with more than 11,000 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, revealing 915 new cases.Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while compiling the statistics said that 22 more patients lost their lives in the last 24 hours as a result of which the death toll rose to 3462 while the death rate was 1.6 percent.

The Chief Minister said that 11692 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in which 915 people were diagnosed with Corona virus at a rate of 7.8%. So far 2288857 tests have been done in which 209429 crore have been positive. Out of these 89% or 186353 patients have been cured.

Murad Ali Shah said that at present 19614 patients are undergoing treatment. Of these, 3462 are in isolated homes and 16 government quarantine centers while 783 people are admitted in various hospitals. Of these, 696 patients are in critical condition while 73 have been shifted to ventilators.According to the statement, out of 915 new cases, 772 are from Karachi.

There are 342 in Eastern District, 162 in Central, 115 in South, 95 in Korangi, 37 in Malir and 21 in West. Hyderabad 39, Qambar 17, Badin 10, Khairpur, Larkana and Saeed Benazirabad nine, nine, Ghotki eight, Sujawal six, Matiari, Umerkot and Tando Muhammad Khan four, four, Nowshero Feroze, Sukkur, Tando Allahyar and Thatta two, two. One case each came to light in Tharparkar and Shikarpur.The Chief Minister has appealed to the people to follow the SOPs.
