KARACHI: Young and talented Mahathir Mohamad overcame a tough challenge from Helesh Kumar to win the Juniors Under-18 Singles title 7-6, 6-2 while the ninth Esta Lab National Seniors and 14 titles in Junior Tennis Championship.
Dr. Maryam Farhan was the special guest at the closing ceremony while Dr. Nadia Farhan was the special guest.
In her speech, Dr Maryam praised the work of the Sindh Tennis Association and added that her organization would continue to support sports activities in the country.
PTF Vice President Khalid Rahmani pointed out that beach tennis was included in any national tournament for the first time.
