The Wages of Betrayal Article

Gangsterism entered Pakistani politics through Z. Mr. Bhutto. Under the current government, the crackdown and the unprecedented wave of repression have reached their peak. Over 10,000 PTI members have been incarcerated in this wave of cruelty, which aims to destroy the party, and its leadership is either hidden, in jail, arrested, and released on good behavior, or abandoning it.

“Winning hearts and minds by shock and awe!” comes to mind.

The PTI was targeted because of the hooliganism that followed Imran Khan’s imprisonment on May 9, 2023. The crackdown’s swiftness, completeness, sweep, and cruelty showed that it had been carefully planned.

When the following factors are considered, it is hard to deny that the government-backed the hooliganism that broke out and may have even encouraged and steered it:

a. The public’s reaction to Imran’s detention was predictable.

c. The arresting authorities knew the time, date, and method.

Due to the anticipated response to this arrest, guards at specified sites and checkpoints on the routes leading there should have had a second set of eyes.

d. Videos showed that these facilities had hardly any guards, and checkpoints that had been particularly alert were either unmanned or available to everyone that day.

e. When sparse masses attacked many planned areas, none of the security details—always assigned to handle such a situation—stepped up.

It’s hard to believe that the government and army didn’t plan the “guided” hooliganism on May 9, and it’s even harder to believe that this was the last-ditch attempt to blame PTI for what happened after Imran’s imprisonment.

From April 9, 2022, to May 9, 2023, and beyond, the campaign to destroy PTI was a shining example of civil-military cooperation that targeted Pakistan’s population as represented by its most prominent political party.

On April 9, 2022, Gen. Bajwa assisted in toppling the PTI government at the command of his foreign overlords. In the long and horrible history of treachery in the subcontinent, this was the most obvious instance of treason ever. With Bajwa taking his position, Mir Sadiq was deposed as the most egregious traitor in recent subcontinental history. Bajwa’s betrayal will turn out to be massive in its full extent.

Operation Regime Change was launched because a) Pakistan needed to be denuclearized; b) it needed to be freed from China; c) Baluchistan needed to be separated from it; and d) there was any chance that the oligarchs who control the country’s neo-liberal system of government could be eliminated (which Imran’s policies seemed committed to doing).

Our nuclear arsenal has been rendered useless, China has been taken from us, Baluchistan will be sheered off, and Imran will be put on hold, ensuring that our thieving oligarchs and the neo-liberal order that nurtured and protected them will continue to prosper at the expense of the poor, destitute, and downtrodden.

Imran had to leave to achieve these four goals because he was a hindrance to them all. If he left, he was not to be allowed to return. Elections had to be suspended because he would win with a huge margin, even if it meant dismantling the Constitution. If they were kept at all, it would only be while Imran Khan was imprisoned or killed by assassins, PTI was in trouble or outlawed, and the organization was on the decline.

This procedure has repeatedly violated the Constitution’s “90 Day Election” language, which is so unambiguous that no other interpretation than what would be obvious to an ass can be made of it. This has essentially set the stage for the Constitution to become No Constitution, no Federation.

On April 9, 2022, deception created this situation, and on May 9, 2023, a falsehood reached its initial [temporary] climax.

Bajwa and his allies believed that Imran had lost his support, but on the night of the coup, when massive crowds protested against Imran’s removal in every region of the country, it was clear that this was wishful thinking.

Bajwa could only solve this problem by forcing Pakistan to resume the status quo ante or hold elections immediately. If neither of these options could be used, then lies and falsehoods would have to be used to hide the betrayal and present as innocent. The first lies would then need to be repeated to keep Pakistan’s new power structure in place. Each new attempt at this rei would require new lies.

However, the administration that replaced Imran Khan wouldn’t suffer any setbacks because it was never credible. It could only be expected to reach greater heights of corruption and descend into ever-deeper pits of incompetence, dishonesty, and ignominy, which it did.

Bajwa could not return Pakistan to its pre-uprising state or call for new elections due to the following constraints:

He needed time to denuclearize Pakistan as promised to his superiors.

b. He could be hanged for violating Article 6.
c. In exchange for removing Imran and returning the Sharif family to power, he accepted a payoff from Nawaz Sharif that allowed him to leave the country. Nawaz Sharif had the evidence of this transaction, and if Bajwa had broken his promises, he would have made it public.

Since he was unable to return Pakistan to its pre-regime state, he was forced to rely on officially sanctioned lies that no foreign power was responsible for the change in government, the army had no role in the operation, the army had turned neutral long before the change, and the army’s neutrality had persisted after the change.

The new premise of Pakistani citizenship is believing these lies. Those who reject it and are detected are fired and imprisoned.

On the ruins of the old Pakistan, a new one has been built on a grid of lies. Each Haji, Hafiz, Thief, and Cutthroat who has sworn to uphold these lies are treated equally and freely by the law. Our new criminal class is made up of those who use deception to challenge this regulation.

The army has maintained the current situation between April 9, 2022, and May 9, 2023, by continuously claiming that “we did not do it; we were and are neutral.” The public no longer trusts the army, and the rank and file now harbor strong misgivings about their high command. God alone knows how the army intended to convince Pakistan’s citizens and its own rank and file to believe its story about May 9 with such a history of blatant lies behind it.

Fools go where angels fear.

The army moved to fix this issue by overthrowing a legitimate and popular administration and then resorting to falsehoods and deceit. Unexpectedly, a Martyrs’ Remembrance Day was declared. A day for the betterment of the living would have been preferable, but the living “bastards” (as our best soldier at the time called them)

Bajwa was carefully chosen as the major guest to underscore his betrayal and sellout. Was this “dare,” cynicism, or stupidity?

Gods first enrage their victims.

Without the army’s steady support and constant lies, this gang of thugs would have disbanded within two weeks.

The army’s claim that they were not behind the regime transition of 2022 because they had “gone neutral” much earlier and have remained neutral ever since is the longest line I have ever heard, been most adamantly committed to, and most blatantly trumpeted. Even the blind could be blamed for failing to recognize the complete hypocrisy behind this repeated deception.

However, among those who understood this from the start, I now realized why hypocrisy was the second-worst sin after “shirk” among all the wonderful crimes.

Hypocrisy destroys society by destroying every pledge, oath, allegiance, promise, commitment, value, and moral.

I also realized that such massive hypocrisy could only be cultivated by those who have grown accustomed to believing in a “free” Haj, unaware that this is a contradiction in terms and needs a lot of hypocrisy!

What then? “Consequences” are in store, because choices have effects. Remember the Battle of Uhad, where the Holy Prophet’s army was robbed of victory due to an unguarded flank? This shows that the Almighty is not partial and that breaking laws, teachings, or rules will have consequences.

Pakistan’s suffering will soon be felt and shown to have effects, but civil war is unlikely. Instead, the nascent insurrection in KP will gain momentum and draw any number of eager recruits from the much larger pool of hungry and resentful Pakistanis. Our soldiers performed admirably during the most recent uprising, but that won’t happen again.

The militants in K.P. are likely to defend their ground with more tenacity today because THIS TIME THEIR PEOPLE WILL SUPPORT THEM. If that happens, the army won’t be eager to act, and battle stalemates will likely increase. The army’s primary means of penetration will eventually become the artillery, armor, and air force. Many people will die, and a simmering rebellion will become a civil war’s first stage.

Unpopular armies are least likely to win civil wars.

The next civil war, whose seeds have been sowed, may cost us the other half.

A number of cowardly defeated generals and supportive political leadership started the first civil war by illegally denying authority to the majority party. The result was humiliation, defeat, and submission.
Today, power is being withheld from the party with the most support by denying it the ability to demonstrate its mandate, which would be a violation of the Constitution carrying a death-by-hanging sentence. The generals are just as cowardly and disinterested as they were in 1971, except that they had the guts to violate Article 6 of the Constitution. This time, politicians are leading while the generals are following.

Why do the generals keep repeating the same experiment in hopes of finding something new when the people’s aspirations are the same as in 1971 and the tool used to crush them is the same?
Every general who has failed has done so convinced that previous generals were blundering buffoons and lacked the wisdom he so plainly possessed!
