Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that we have approached the people on this demand. We have also talked about our part and taken a stand. The demand for census is related to our government and the building is based on it. The decision of the federal cabinet was protested by the Prime Minister and a strong oath was written.

The MQM chief said that the commissioner was punished for understating the census during Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s tenure. If Karachi does not pay taxes, where will the salaries go? We have given priority to the census in the demand for recovery of missing persons. Our offices are closed, this demand was not our first, we did not even demand that our person be included in the cabinet. Is it illegal, unconstitutional, non-political to demand the recovery of your missing comrades? We have no political or partisan demands for a census.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui says that 18th amendment was deceived, people were deceived, no amendment is needed, all constitutional options are present in Pakistani constitution. The city is slowly becoming a village.
