Here on Wednesday, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar stated that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) received Rs 527.2 billion in February 2023.
A minister tweeted that tax receipts for the current month are 17% more than they were for the same period last fiscal year (2021-22).
So far this fiscal year, the FBR has reportedly collected a total of Rs 4,493 billion, up from Rs 3,820 billion during the corresponding period last year.
FBR’s ongoing outstanding performance in the current fiscal year’s third quarter shows the bank’s commitment to reaching the higher annual planned revenue target of Rs.
