A Foreign Office spokesman said that the High Commission was in touch with the concerned authorities on the issue of stopping the Pakistani plane in Malaysia.

According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, alternative arrangements have been made for the passengers. The passengers will leave Kuala Lumpur tonight.

It may be recalled that PIA flight PK895 reached Kuala Lumpur from Karachi today where it was intercepted at Kuala Lumpur Airport.

According to the court order, the plane was taken into custody after the passengers boarded the plane. The plane was taken into custody for non-payment of dues.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the matter is pending in a British court between the PIA and a party. The plane has been taken into custody following a unilateral decision of a local court.

PIA is trying to solve the problem at the government level. PIA had leased Boeing 777 aircraft from a Vietnamese company in 2015.
