Asia Cup 2023 Pakistan squad

Here is Pakistan’s squad for the Emerging Asia Cup 2023, featuring player news and injury updates, which begins next month. Eight teams will compete for the championship.

The 2019 event will be the first EAC since 2013, and the fifth overall. The tournament includes the national ‘A’ teams of the six full members of the Asia Cricket Council (Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan). The Emerging Asia Cup will be played in Sri Lanka, and the defending champions are Pakistan.

The PCB has named a 15-man roster for the competition, including four substitutes who will travel with the team. Mohammad Haris, who bats at wicket and has represented Pakistan in five ODIs and nine T20Is at the senior level, will lead the team as captain. Arshad Iqbal, Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Shahnawaz Dahini, and Tayyab Tahir are just a few of the other players on the team with full international recognition.

There has been no word of any injuries among the squad, so everyone should be good to go.

The competition will go out on July 12 in Colombo and run until the 21st. In the first stage of the event, the teams will compete in two groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.

The Pakistani team will have a training camp at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore beginning on July 3 in preparation for their upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
