Punjabi driver’s licence offices have made the decision to make the application procedure easier for applicants by eliminating a necessary requirement.
A recent report claims that the government has decided to remove the requirement for a COVID-19 vaccination certificate when applying for a driver’s licence.
The department removed this requirement, citing the resolution of the COVID-19 incident. All pertinent departments have received communication from the authorities in this regard.
The beginning of a 24-hour driving licence service in six of the most populated cities in the province was announced earlier this week by Mirza Faran Baig, Punjab Police’s Deputy Inspector General (Traffic). These facilities will assist residents even after business hours, enabling them to get their licences in as little as 24 hours.
The six largest cities in the province—Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Sialkot—will each get a driving test centre, according to DIG Traffic. He added that these facilities would be accessible every day of the week, around the clock.

محکمہ نے COVID-19 واقعہ کے حل کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے اس ضرورت کو ہٹا دیا۔ اس سلسلے میں تمام متعلقہ محکموں نے حکام سے رابطہ کیا ہے۔
صوبے کے چھ سب سے زیادہ آبادی والے شہروں میں 24 گھنٹے ڈرائیونگ لائسنس سروس کے آغاز کا اعلان اس ہفتے کے شروع میں پنجاب پولیس کے ڈپٹی انسپکٹر جنرل (ٹریفک) مرزا فاران بیگ نے کیا تھا۔ یہ سہولیات کاروباری اوقات کے بعد بھی رہائشیوں کی مدد کریں گی، جس سے وہ 24 گھنٹوں میں اپنے لائسنس حاصل کر سکیں گے۔
ڈی آئی جی ٹریفک کے مطابق صوبے کے چھ بڑے شہروں لاہور، گوجرانوالہ، ملتان، راولپنڈی، فیصل آباد اور سیالکوٹ میں ہر ایک کو ڈرائیونگ ٹیسٹ سنٹر بنایا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ یہ سہولیات ہفتے کے ہر دن، چوبیس گھنٹے دستیاب ہوں گی۔
