According to a report in the Daily Dunya newspaper dated 04-06-2023, there are three enticing salary packages for employees in the BPS-01 through BPS-22 budget proposals for 2023–24. According to the news, the budget for 2023–2024 may increase employee salaries by 20%, 30%, or even 50%. Additionally, Pakistani government employees may receive a raise in their Conveyance Allowance (CA) and Medical Allowance at 100% of their current CA and MA. Additionally, they can receive an increase in HRA and a higher rental ceiling for housing. Pensioners may receive a 20% increase to their current pension.
According to the news, the finance minister is trying to create a budget and properly allocate funds to departments as needed.
